This program is available to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and San Diego Regional Center clients, ages 8 - adult, at no cost to the participating individual or their family.

TECHNOLOGY CENTER TOURS + PROGRAM INTRODUCTION
We provide one on one tours to all families + participants that are interested in joining our programs! Meet our coaches, clients, and connect with the site program director to get all your questions answered. SDRC coordinators are welcome! We are not able to accomodate drop-ins.

CLIENT ITEPs + MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORTS
Our Individualized Technology Education Plans + monthly progress reports keep families connected + up-to-date on progress, both on and off-screen. St. Augustine Health Sciences also provides on site physical wellness instruction, activities, and assessments for all participating UESL clients.

Our staff undergo extensive IDD-informed training, guided by an expert therapist with over 25 years of experience, to ensure every client is met with patience, understanding + genuine care. Combined with our 1:3 coach-to-client ratio, this expertise helps us build safe, empowering environments where every gamer can thrive.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS…
So you’ve made the decision for yourself or a loved one to join the Unified Esports League to pursue a passion for technology, while building the vital life-skills!
STEP 1:
First, click here to contact our concierge Client Services team for help with all steps of process in enrollment.
Our team will provide an initial assessment of your needs and match you with your location.
STEP 2:
Schedule a tour of a UNIFIED Technology Center near you.
Tour the center of your choosing and meet with coaching staff. This is your chance to ask questions and experience the program first-hand. SDRC coordinators are welcome.
STEP 3:
Determine funding + approval process.
UESL Client Services is trained in San Diego Regional Center processes + will help with obtaining authorization of service. Additional funding options available.
STEP 4:
Complete UESL intake process.
UESL Client Services will walk you through scheduling, program procedures, and finalizing your enrollment in the program. We will be with you every step of the way.
STEP :5
Schedule first day to begin attending this life-changing program!
We can not take drop-ins and all clients must complete UESL intake process in order to be able to join.

This specialized approach ensures every staff member understands the unique social, emotional, and sensory needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our technology centers are thoughtfully structured to be calm, predictable, and empowering spaces—where clients can safely learn, grow, and thrive through meaningful peer connection, compassionate coaching, and personalized guidance.
Every UESL coach completes a comprehensive training program, designed by an expert IDD therapist with over 25 years of experience in the community.
