UESL Monthly Guide: June ‘26 IDD-Friendly Events + Activities

June is here — bringing longer days, summer energy, and new opportunities for families, caregivers, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to connect beyond the routines of everyday life.

For many IDD families, finding the right community event is not always simple. The best outings are not just “fun.” They are welcoming, accessible, understanding, and built with enough flexibility for different needs, communication styles, sensory preferences, and comfort levels.

This month’s guide highlights verified June 2026 events across San Diego County, including sensory-friendly experiences, adaptive recreation programs, creative activities, and supportive community spaces.
